Elliott Roch is the new junior club champion after scoring a gross 167 yesterday afternoon beating his closest rival by 9 shots. Elliott only joined DDGC last month but has been up at the club, what appears to be every night since, getting himself acquainted with the course and practicing for this event. The club is determined to strengthen the club’s junior section and there is clearly strength in depth through the divisions. Chris Aherne will have attracted the handicap committee’s eye with a superb score of 92 to win the 2nd division championship. Jonathan Wylie is obviously following his father’s footsteps to win the 3rd division in the closest finish of the day by 1 from Brad Howard

I’m certain that all the participants would have liked to have seen the full results table to see how they faired overall. Good day though so well done to the Junior Organisers for arranging it and good to see so many parents out there too.
