Request for members who are prepared to donate a new style waste bin

To up grade the style of waste bins on the course the Greens committee are looking for 30 members who would be willing to “donate” a waste bin surround

The surround would follow the style of the sample currently positioned outside the Professional  Shop and located on the 1st and 13th Tees.

The DDGC version would be in Oak [not Iroko], there will no lid [to prevent being pulled off] the internal masking sheet will be in black painted marine ply and the legs will have pointed ends for securing into the ground.

The existing mesh bins will then be put inside for ease of emptying but will be hidden from view. The ply masking sheet should prevent rubbish being blown out of the bin

If required a small metal plaque will be attached to the bin giving the donor’s name

We have a supplier who will make the bin surrounds

Any member who is willing to donate a bin surround for the sum of £150 should inform Alan Sigee DDGC Manager

who claimed the £250.00 prize.

Please note there will be no more Roll Up’s until further notice.
