Christmas Eclectic

Saturday 18th December to Tuesday 4th January

The winter is not the most exciting time to go out and have a game of golf. Especially in the wind, rain, hail or dare I say the snow. But an eclectic competition is just the answer. What is an eclectic?

You play a number of rounds and compare your scores on each hole per round. The lowest score made on each hole is recorded, producing an 18-hole score. So for example, if you score a 6 on hole No. 1 in Round 1; a 7 on hole No 1 in Round 2, and in Round 3, a 4. Your score for the first hole will be 4. The lowest of each round’s scores per hole are recorded on one scorecard and turned in as the final score.

The first card of each day may be returned in the Junior Box on as many days as you wish during the holiday. They are great fun and it gives you an opportunity to score your very own sub 70 round.

If the weather is reallly bad, just play the bottom 10 or the top 8.

There is no entrance fee and to whet your appetite there will be prizes.
