Congratulations to Chris Aherne for winning this weeks fiddle with a score of 24 points and claiming his £10 voucher. He had to be on the top of his game to win with Ryan Craig snapping at his heels with a very solid 22. Ryan’s performance caught the selectors eye (Ryan played against him) and he has won a place into the squad for the next 2 Tavistock & Ver League matches. Well done Ryan

With 10 people playing, and not necessarily the same 10, the format has been working well and next time we will insist that everyone plays off the yellows with only 3 clubs and a putter. What will you use? A driver, 6 iron and a wedge? or a rescue club, 8 iron and a sand iron? It will be a bit of fun and will really test your play making ability around the greens. Ever chipped off the green with a 4 iron before? Now is your chance to perfect these skills

 And for thse of you struggling with exam revision…the evenings are getting lighter and we have a texas scramble planned soon.
