Congratulations to Brad Howard, Alex Tipping, Alex Winter & John Wright for securing their places in the next round of the knockout competitions. Some excellent golf was played and there was one or twoshock results too that all helped to make the day a successful one. On reflection, I think the format works. It creates the buzz and it helps manage the progression to the final. This year’s winner would have won the event without too many w/o’s.

But I just wish I had heeded the advice concerning the timing of the day and chosen another day. Hands up…my mistake
