DDGC Juniors secured a great win away from home at Ashridge Golf Club on Saturday. In stunning weather conditions, the DDGC side, that included some relatively new players, beat their opponents 4:1 . Given that many were playing foursomes golf for the first time, this really was a great performance.
Foursomes can be cruel, especially if you are wayward with your drives. But it can be quick too and Captain Tom Howson & Vice Captain John Wright were sitting on the balcony watching their team mates return after less than 3 hours play
This has been yet another opportunity for the DDGC squad to gather experience playing new courses and they are all bonding well. New players are joining too with George Hewitt gathering his first taste of playing for the club.
