The scratch team picked up where they left off last year with a win in their opening Winter League game against a strong Beds and County side. In the opening game, Mark Carter and Chris Spooner battled back from two down with four to play to win two up and claim the first point for the team.  Adam Fitzgibbon and Matt Oborne, second out were never behind in their game and went on to win three and two. The third game went the way of Beds and County and it was left to Rob Sutton and Dave Taylor in the final game to win three and two and claim a 3-1 victory.

Thanks must go to the high number of members who turned out to support the team aswell, it was much appreciated.
