The scratch team kept up their unbeaten run in the winter league with a 2.5 – 1.5 away win over John O’Gaunt. Next up is Millbrook at home, the date and time for which will be posted on the notice board in due course.

Owing to weather forcast indcating a deep frost ovenight, the medal will not now be played on Saturday 4th February.

Are now in the office

It has come to our notice today that the company engaged to produce the 2012 club diaries has gone into liquidation. This means that they will no longer be able to supply any club diaries. If any member has agreed to place an advert in this year’s diary, please bear this in mind.

The club has not paid out any money and therefore has not incurred any losses as a result of this action.

We are currently in touch with another, local company who should be able to take over the diary production at short notice. We will keep the members informed of the progress.

In the mean time, the club fixtures and events up to August this year can be found on the website and further information is currently being added.

For those members who have signed up for the direct debit payments the new mandate form has to be completed and returned to the office ASAP, This is a NEW FORM 25.01.2012 the form which you have filled in was incorrect and will be destroyed.  The form can be downloaded here or you can collect form office.

Please note the change of date for Captain’s Day 2012
Captain’s Day has moved from 9th to 23rd June and the Summer Trophy has moved to 9th June from the 23rd.
This change has been brought about by the extra Bank Holiday and the County Championship being held over that weekend
As a consequence the Mid Summer Ball has been moved to Friday 29th June
