GREENS

Greens mown at 3.5 mil.

All greens treated with spring and summer granular feed.

Wetting agent applied to all greens in May.

Winter green hole cups removed and holes repluged.

Greens hand watered using drencher gun with wetting agent tablets where required.

TEES

All tees fertilized in late April.

Green seed and soil boxes positioned on tees.

All tees divoted during May.

Tee banks mown.

New 3rd tee cut and top dressed, also bank area redone with seed and soil.

FAIRWAYS

Fairway divots being filled with seed and soil mix.

Preferred lies have now finished.

Fairways cut; height of cut is 20 mil.

Top practice fairway divoted, all fairways have also been divoted.

BUNKERS

All bunkers edged and weeded in late April.

Stone baskets used to remove chalk and stones from bunkers.

Bunker banks mown with Saxsone mower and fly mowed where required.

Turf on new 3rd bunker watered.

SEMI ROUGH

Semi rough mown weekly.

ROUGH

Rough at 3rd, 4th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 17th mown with Aebi mower.

Branches collected at 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th and 16th holes after recent strong winds.

IRRIGATION

The main irrigation pipe burst on the slope below the 8th winter green, this was difficult to locate as it was around 4 ½ feet deep.

Further problems with the main control panel and the relay switch to the bore hole meant there was limited amount of water applied over a 5 day period at the May bank holiday weekend.

Sprinklers repaired at the 9th winter tee, 7th medal tee, 12th tee, and 15th and 17th greens.

MISCELLANOUS WORK

Greens and tee sprinklers trimmed.

Drinking fountain turned on.

Winter tees divoted.

Laurels watered at 1st and 5th.

Individual trees watered.

Animal scrapings on tee banks and fairways filled with seed and soil mix.

Drain at clubhouse repaired.

White lines on car park resprayed.

Bark Mulch put around plants at the back of 2nd hole.

Sleeper steps and tombstones strimmed.
