Course Marshall
Our Society Packages include the services of a Course Marshall who will act as a Starter ensuring that your event gets under way on time and runs as smoothly as possible. He will also be able to answer any questions you may have on the day.

The Golf Professional
Additional facilities include our Professional’s shop which offers the best place to buy a wide selection of your prizes, from affordable accessories to top brand names. Our Professional staff can organize your prize table in advance of your day and will display a wide selection of prizes on the day that will suit the budget you have for your event. Tuition Clinics too can be held to enhance your event.

Buggies and Trolleys
From March to October there are four buggies available for hire (subject to availability). Please contact The Professional Shop on 01582 662 806 to reserve yours.

Club House & Bar
Our Bar and Catering Staff will look after you throughout the day. Would you please be aware that we have a ‘no smoking’ policy throughout the Clubhouse.

The little touches
Whatever you need; Prize Table, Score Boards, PA System, Starting Sheets, “Longest Drive” and “Nearest the Pin” Markers etc are all available upon request to the Office. There may be an additional charge (prices on request) for these facilities.

Package Fee Structure
Our Fee Structure is listed below and based upon our ‘flexible dining’ and very popular packages. Your group has a choice of three meals and they choose from this selection individually on the day.

  • Courtesy of the course is given to Club Captains (in office), BIGGA Greenkeepers, Secretary/Managers (members of GCMA), and PGA Professionals providing that they have the necessary Membership Cards/letters of introduction. Members of Dunstable Downs Golf Club who are also members of your Society will get a concession on the Package Rate. They will not, however, be allowed to sign in other members of your Society at concessionary rates.

Conditions of Booking
To secure your booking a deposit of £100.00 must be paid as soon as possible and this will form a contract between the parties and an obligation to comply with the Rules and Conditions as published. Confirmation of final numbers must be received 1 week before the event. Additional numbers will be accepted provided that there is space available.

Cancellations
By the Society:
Cancellation of your booking up to 2 months before the date you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit.
Cancellation of the booking within 2 months of the date will result in a loss of your deposit. Numbers must be finalised 1 week before the event. Any reduction in numbers notified within 1 week of your booking will be charged the full amount.

By the Club:
Where the Golf Course is closed due to weather or other event then a full refund will be given. Where temporary greens are in play a reduction in accordance with our policy will be given.

Payment of Accounts
Your invoice will be presented for payment on the day (available either in the Office or left at the Bar) and we request that all accounts are settled before leaving the Clubhouse. Personal cheques up to £50 are acceptable only with a Bankers Card. Credit Cards are accepted.

Special Requirements
