West Byfleet Golf Club - Founded in 1906
One of the many clubs that Dunstable Downs members can enjoy

Fancy testing your game on a links, heathland or parkland course?

One of the great benefits of being a Dunstable Downs member is that the Club has two of the very best reciprocal golf schemes in the country. We know that we are fortunate to play on one of Britain’s best downland courses but if you fancy testing your skills on a links, heathland or parkland course the reciprocal golf scheme might just be the answer.

1906 Club
The 1906 club is an association of Clubs founded in 1906 who have agreed to offer courtesy of their courses to members of other 1906 Clubs. Dunstable Downs was a Founder Member of the 1906 club. Current membership is at 46 clubs.

James Braid Association
The James Braid Association was formed in 2009 and now has 300 member clubs: 22 in Wales, 10 in Ireland, 120 in Scotland, 147 in England and 1 in the USA. Dunstable Downs Golf Club members can enjoy preferential green fees at these courses by booking in advance.

The County Card
And if that’s not enough golf to satisfy your appetite, any member who has paid their County Golf Union Affiliation Fee can play at over 1300 golf courses nationwide at discounted rates. Not every Club in the Counties have agreed to be part of the scheme. Speak to The General Manager to get your free County Card.

Visitors to Dunstable Downs Golf Club
Dunstable Downs Golf Club will offer courtesy golf to fellow 1906 club members and discounted golf to county card holders and members of The James Braid Association. Please extend as warm a welcome to these visitors as you would expect if you visited their course.
